A division of ministry for women at Briarwood Baptist which seeks to support all ministries of the church, desiring to model Christ’s example of ministry as described in Philippians chapter 2, and which exists to connect. . .

Women 2 God…

through evangelism, discipleship, bible study, prayer & spiritual growth opportunities.

Women 2 Women…

by building & maintaining Christ-centered, nurturing relationships with other women through intentional fellowship, accountability & mentoring venues.

Women 2 Service...

by equipping women to: understand & accept her call & commitment to serve in the local church; discover, develop & share her spiritual gifts; learn to live with intentional purpose & loving influence in all her life circles; initiate & nurture relationships with non-believing persons—always speaking the truth of Christ with the love of Christ.

And, is also a ministry that believes all women, no matter their age or place in life. . .

and were intelligently designed & created with love with grand purpose by the One, True & Living God and are co-reflectors of His image in mankind. Being important to God, they possess value & worth; therefore, they are important to all branches of this ministry.

· Can Find True Purpose …

and discover that ultimate & true purpose for their lives upon entering a covenant relationship with Jesus Christ, His Son, and by continually growing to be like Him throughout all of life. The insatiable quest for significance is realized upon discovering life’s chief purpose is to glorify God in all things and enjoy Him forever.

· Should Live Out Purpose . . .

all women who have a relationship with Christ are called to serve Him by serving others—carrying out His purposes through obedient living. Possessing the grace & forgiveness they have been given through faith in Christ, they make witness to the watching world by extending the same toward others in discipling and loving the members of Christ’s body and sharing their faith with the lost. Following His call to not forsake the assembling of themselves together in corporate worship, they use the unique spiritual gifts they have been given within the fellowship of the local church body to which they have committed themselves as well as within their own family & community.

Briarwood has many wonderful opportunities for women which includes Women on Mission. The Women on Mission group sponsors different mission educational projects and our annual mission auction that raises money for mission work around the world. We meet monthly on the second Tuesday of every month at a member's home.

Our women are also very involved with Bible Study classes and have an annual retreat in the mountains.
